Wish List

 

We are always in need of these items, provided they are in usable condition and food is edible (rot and mold-free).

If an item is not on our Wish List, please do not donate it to us. Removing items we do not need takes time and resources away from caring for the animals in our facility.

To keep things clean:

▪ Clean towels and linens

▪ Paper towels

▪ Contractor-grade large trash bags

▪ Unscented baby wipes

To keep everyone fed and healthy:

▪ Whole corn

▪ Unsalted Nuts of all kinds in shells

▪ Fresh fruit (Apples, pears, grapes, berries)

▪ Raw Carrots

▪ Nutri-grain bars

▪ Vanilla animal crackers

▪ Plain graham crackers

▪ Frisky's canned cat food

▪ Black-oil sunflower seed

▪ Concerto wild bird seed

▪ Suet cakes

▪ Thistle/Nijer Seed

To keep a safe, natural habitat:

▪ Hardwood Mulch (Large Chunks and Shredded)

▪ Native freshwater grasses and Cattails

▪ Spice Bushes (Lindera benzoin)

▪ Native butterfly plants (Clethra alnifolia, milkweed species, blazing star)

▪ Eastern Red Cedars (Juniperus virginiana)

▪ White and Virginia Pine (Pinus virginiana, Pinus strobus)

▪ American Crabapple (Malus coronaria)

▪ Holly Trees (Ilex Opaca- both male and female)

▪ Fringe Trees (Chionanthus virginica- both male and female)

▪ Butteryfly Bush
